Edam Academies

We have incredibly high standards of service and professionalism and therefore we invest heavily in finding and developing exceptional talent. This can mean we look further afield than solely on people with experience in credit hire or personal injury: if they live and breathe our values, we can help develop them.

Our academies are our highly successful Centres of Excellence for creating our claims and recovery handlers of the future. New starters develop core skills and knowledge and gain experience in a safe and structured environment before progressing into the wider business.

We are committed to providing opportunities for younger people to join the EDAM team, gaining entry-level experience and great working practices. With structured and planned support from their line manager and the Learning and Development team, our apprentices go on to have exciting careers with us.

The training at EDAM is fantastic. The Academies offer people with no experience the chance to join the company, there is ongoing technical and soft skills training which is outstanding and all this is supported by on the job training. What we need to learn is identified through GTi (Grow, Thrive, improve), our review programme which makes sure that we all get the support that we need.
